Chess
Chess is one of the oldest and most popular board games. It is played by two opponents on a checkered board with specially designed pieces of contrasting colours, commonly white and black. The objective of the game is to capture the opponent’s king.

Course Curriculum
- Total 6 (Six) Levels of learning with mandatory sessions of Theory & Practical classes.
- Student Transition from one level to another level will be determined through Internal Tests comprising of –
- Theory Exams
- Worksheet solving
- Regular Class Practice performance
- Student frame of mind, behavior & related evaluation by the Coaches
- Class attendance
- Students will be awarded with certificates after successful completion of each level
- Worksheets & few study materials will be provided to the students free of cost. Other Books/materials suggested by Coaches time to time has to be purchased by the students or requisition may be placed with Academy authority.
Level-1 : Novice-Pawns
(for Absolute Beginners) Duration – 24 Sessions
In the end of this module students will be equipped with basic Knowledge of Chess & Chess Games with puzzle solving.
Level-2 : Warrior-Pawns
(for Advanced Beginners) Duration – 24 Sessions
In the end of this module students will be conversant with different Chess rules & concept of Games.
Level-3 : Mighty-Knights
(for Intermediate Chess Players) Duration – 24 Sessions
In the end of the module students will also be encouraged in the challenging world of ‘Chess Tournaments’.
Level-4 : Bishop-Brigade
(for Tournament-Ready Players) Duration – 48 Sessions
In this module we will encourage the students to participate in official Tournaments to get FIDE ratings.
Level-5 : Valiant-Rooks
(for Advanced Level-I Players) Duration – 48 Sessions
At the end of this module students will be equipped with Advanced tactics & checkmates.
Level-6 : Queen’s-Army
(for Advanced Level-II Players) Duration – 48 Sessions
At the end of this module students will be ready for National & International Tournaments.
Special Coaching with GRANDMASTER
(For Advanced Level-III Players having ELO rating more than 1500)
Special Coaching with INTERNATIONALMASTER
(For Advanced Level-III Players having ELO rating more than 1200)
